What Changed & Why
Q: What's new in the updated design?
We've refreshed S2 Sync to make it simpler, faster, and more intuitive. The redesign brings a cleaner layout, clearer navigation, and helpful new features, while keeping every core page and workflow you already rely on.
Q: Why did S2 Sync decide to redesign the interface?
We heard consistent feedback that the previous interface felt cluttered and harder to navigate than it should be. The redesign was driven by a desire to reduce friction across the board, making it easier to find what you need, understand progress at a glance, and keep your team moving in the same direction.
Q: Will all my features still be available?
Yes. Every core feature is still here. The underlying experience is the same, just with better usability, smarter organization, and improved layouts across every page.
Q: Which specific pages were updated?
Road Map, Meetings, Scoreboard, Objectives, Actions, Opportunities, and Healthy F.I.T. all received layout and usability improvements. The Org Chart and Resources page had no major changes as it already reflected the latest design.
Transition & Timing
Q: When does the new UI go live?
The new UI launches on April 2nd. You'll see the updated interface automatically the next time you log in, with no action needed on your part.
Q: Will the old interface still be accessible after April 2nd?
Starting April 2nd, logging in to S2 Sync will automatically take you to the new experience. The previous version will still be accessible for reference through May 15th, giving you time to get comfortable before it's fully retired.
Q: Do I need to download or install anything?
No downloads or installs are required. The update is delivered automatically in your browser.
Q: Will my data, settings, and preferences carry over?
Yes, completely. All your data, account settings, integrations, and saved preferences are preserved. The redesign is a visual and structural change only. Your account is untouched.
Functionality & Features
Q: What improved in the Road Map?
The Road Map now provides a clearer, more unified view of your strategy. Priorities, progress, and focus areas are easier to understand so teams can stay aligned.
Q: What's new in Meetings?
Meetings feature a streamlined flow, improved meeting player visibility, easier note-taking, and quicker action capture.
Q: What changed in the Scoreboard?
The Scoreboard has a cleaner metrics view with easier progress tracking, enhanced visuals to better see growth and changes over time, and a new toggle that lets you switch to a visual graph layout.
Q: What's new in Objectives?
Objectives has improved structure for goals, milestones, and alignment. You can now easily toggle between your team and the entire company to see overall progress of the entire company. Clearer visual indicators show how many objectives are on track, off track, or complete.
Q: What changed in Actions?
Actions now has faster assignment and clearer ownership, plus a new Related To column that visually shows how each action connects to an opportunity or an objective. The page also features a new Quote of the Day to keep your team inspired.
Q: What's new in Opportunities?
Opportunities retains the same powerful tracking and prioritization tools, now enhanced with sorting assistance to help users better prioritize their list.
Q: What changed in Healthy F.I.T.?
Healthy F.I.T. is more streamlined and easier to navigate. You can quickly schedule meetings with direct reports and request access to additional team members without extra steps. You can also easily see who has access to your personal Road Map, as well as which team members' Road Maps you have access to.
Q: What changed about accessing company settings?
Company settings have moved. Instead of clicking your company name, click the 3-dot menu next to your name in the bottom-left corner.

Yes. S2 Sync has published a full 'What's New' guide which covers all key page changes.

Technical Concerns
Q: Is the new design mobile-friendly?
Yes. Mobile usability was a core goal of this redesign. The updated layout is optimized for phones and tablets with touch-friendly controls.

Q: How do I report a bug or display issue?
Use the Help menu inside S2 Sync to submit a bug report. Including a screenshot and brief description helps the team resolve issues faster. You may also email help@systemandsoul.com for additional support.

Feedback can be shared via the "Submit Feedback" menu inside the app or you can email help@systemandsoul.com directly. The team reviews all submissions and uses feedback to shape future updates.
