# How Team Scoreboards Work in S2 Sync

### Overview

Every team you create in **S2 Sync** automatically gets its **own private scoreboard**. This scoreboard is only visible to the members of that specific team.

You don’t need to enable or configure anything extra—once the team exists and users are added, the scoreboard is created automatically.

 

### How to Create a New Team

Follow these steps to create a team in S2 Sync:

1. Click your **company name** in the top-left corner of the platform.
2. Select **Company Settings**.
3. Click **Teams**.
4. Click **+ Add** in the top-right corner.
5. Add users to the team and save.

Note: Only admin and coaches may add teams. If you are listed as a "member" you will not be able to create a team.

### Viewing a Team’s Scoreboard

Once a team is created and users are added:

- The team will automatically have its own scoreboard.
- To view a specific team’s scoreboard, make sure you’ve selected the **correct team** from the team selector.
- The scoreboard will update based on the team you currently have selected.

> 💡 Tip: If you don’t see the scoreboard you expect, double-check that you’re viewing the correct team.

### Who Can See a Team Scoreboard?

- ✅ Only members of that team can see their scoreboard.
- ❌ Other teams and non-members cannot view it.
