How to Edit the Bets Section of the S2 Road Map

Bets are the key initiatives your team commits to in order to reach your long-term Destination. The S2 Road Map allows you to document, align, and track these Bets across 3-year, 1-year, and quarterly time horizons.

Entering or Editing Bets in the S2 Sync App

Once your team has finalized its Bets, follow these steps to update the Road Map in the app.

How to Edit Bets in the S2 Road Map

1. Navigate to the Road Map

Open S2 Sync and go to the Road Map section.

2. Click “Edit”

In the top-right corner, select Edit to unlock the Road Map for changes.

3. Scroll to the Bets Section

Find the Bets area and choose the team whose Bets you want to edit (e.g., Leadership Team).

Each team in S2 Sync can have its own quarterly, 1-year, and 3-year Bets.

4. Add Bets to the Correct Time Horizons

You’ll see three sections:

This Quarter
One Year From Now
Three Years From Now

Enter the appropriate Bets in each section.

5. Start by Setting the Date

Each Bet should have a clear completion date. Add the date before entering financial or EE targets.

6. Set Targets for Each Bet

For each Bet, complete the following fields:

Revenue Target (R)
Profit Target (P)
Economic Engine Target (EE)

These targets anchor each Bet to a measurable financial outcome.

7. Save Your Changes

Once all Bets and targets are entered, scroll to the bottom and click Save.

You're Done!

Your team’s 3-year, 1-year, and quarterly Bets are now documented in the S2 Road Map and visible to your whole organization.
